Dr. Sumedha is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with a deep passion for patient-centered medicine. Born and raised in India, she completed her medical education at Government Medical College, Chandigarh, from 1997 to 2002, before moving to the United States in 2005. She completed her residency at Corewell Health in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2009, after which she gained extensive experience in hospital medicine, developing deep expertise in managing complex and acute medical conditions. Driven by a desire to build lasting relationships with her patients, she transitioned to primary care in 2023, bringing that same depth of knowledge to everyday health and wellness.

Dr. Sumedha practices medicine with a simple but powerful belief — that every patient deserves thoughtful, individualized care rooted in evidence-based medicine and delivered with genuine compassion. Fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi, she is able to connect with a diverse range of patients in a way that feels personal and comfortable.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Sumedha is a devoted mother of two who finds renewal in nature — through long walks and hiking trails. She is driven by a deep sense of gratitude and faith, believing that caring for others is one of life's greatest privileges — a conviction that is reflected in every patient interaction.
